Wolf Creek Falls
- A two-tiered waterfall that flows over rugged rock
cliffs to a pool below. The upper falls has a
drop of 75 feet and the lower falls drop 50 feet.
The hike is classified as moderate and
the trail length is approximately 1.2 miles.
Turn onto Little River Road from Highway 138 and go
approximately 11 miles to trailhead parking and
footbridge. There is additional parking and a
restroom across the road.
Grotto Falls
- Waterfalls plunges 100 feet over a cliff with a
trail that passes behind the falls into a natural
cavern. The hike is classified as
moderate and the trail length is
approximately 0.3 miles in length. Turn onto
Little River Road from Highway 138 and go
approximately 16.1 miles (Little River Road turns
into Forest Road 27). When you reach Road 2703
turn left and go approximately 4.4 miles to Road
2703-150 and follow for 2 miles to trailhead turnout
which is located just past Emile Creek Bridge.
Yasko Falls
- A fan fall is created as Little River drops
60 feet onto different layers of protruding rocks
that spread the flow creating a truly beautiful
waterfall. The hike is classified as
moderate and the trail length is
approximately 0.7 miles. Turn onto Little
River Road from Highway 138 and go approximately
25.8 miles (Little River Road turns into Forest Road
27 - 7 miles of which is gravel) to
Lake-in-the-Woods Campground. Trailhead
parking is at the campground entrance and the
trailhead is on the the Yasko Falls Trail #1519
across the road.
Hemlock Falls
- Located on Hemlock creek this Horsetail falls has
flow drop of 80 feet. The hike is classified
as moderate and is 0.4 miles in
length. Turn onto Little River Road from Highway 138
and go approximately 25.8 miles (Little River Road
turns into Forest Road 27 - 7 miles of which is
gravel) to Lake-in-the-Woods Campground.
Trailhead parking is at the campground entrance and
the trailhead is located near camp site #1.
Clover Falls -
This is the most secluded of the waterfalls and is a
"Block" style waterfall. Located between
Hemlock Lake (trail length 2.25 miles) and
Lake-in-the-Woods-Campground (trail length 1.25
miles) the hike is classified as difficult.
Turn onto Little River Road from Highway 138 and go
approximately 25.8 miles (Little River Road turns
into Forest Road 27 - 7 miles of which is gravel) to
Lake-in-the-Woods Campground. Travel 0.2 miles to
trailhead. Follow trail #1505 for 1.25 miles.
The trail continues 2.25 miles to Hemlock Lake and
Hemlock Lake Campground.
Shadow Falls
- Triple-tiered waterfall with a 100 foot
total drop. Located on Cavitt Creek the hike
is classified as moderate and is 0.8
miles in length. Turn onto Little River Road
from Highway 138 and go approximately 6.6 miles.
Turn right at the covered bridge on Cavitt Creek
(Road #82B) and continue 11.6 miles on Roads 82 and
Forest Road #25 to the trailhead. Follow trail
#1504 to the falls.
