North Umpqua River Waterfalls

Highway 138 ~ Douglas County,Oregon

There are eleven waterfalls that may be reached from Highway 138 along the North Umpqua River which is located in Douglas County, Oregon.   All directions are given from the starting point of Highway 138.  All of Oregon's waterfalls can be appreciated the most during our wet season due to the increased water flow in the streams and rivers.  Please be aware of changing weather conditions and dress appropriately, some segments of Highway 138 require chains in the winter as you are driving into the Cascade Mountain Range and higher elevations.  There is a link to the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) above for road and weather condions.
